Somboon Tron Energy Co.,Ltd, STRON and Etuk Factory, ETF signed licensing agreement as SMART E-TUK's production hub

December 6th, 2022 Somboon Tron Energy Co.,Ltd, STRON and Etuk Factory, ETF signed licensing agreement as SMART E-TUK's production hub and collaborated in the development of supply chain and market development for E-TUK to penetrate the logistics and hospitality industry in Thailand and many other countries in the world. The E-TUK platform, comprising technology from ETF and know-how in production of open-modular E-TUK platform together with SMART battery and monitoring system to support the growth of demand for electric 3-wheeler. This deal combines STRON's strengths in Automotives and Electric vehicles industries and E-TUK's long experience in E-TUK with a sustainable green solution for low carbon footprint and high technology for intelligent fleet management.

Ms. Napatsorn Kitaphanich, President of SAT, together with Mr. Vincent van Campen, Chairman of ETuk Factory revealed that this partnership aims to promote sustainable electric TUKTUK solutions for various commercial usage. The production hub in Thailand would enhance E-TUK presence with its production hub to support the needs of E-TUK from various countries. Moreover, this would benefit the economy and EV technology development, supporting Thailand to be an EV hub in Asia.

In 2022, Somboon Tron Energy company is preparing to launch two electric vehicle groups: electric buses and electric 3 wheelers. Both type of vehicles has been developed with a focus on the users' safety, environmentally friendly LFP battery technology, and utilities for a niche market with various use cases for E-TUK, especially in the logistics and hospitality industry.

The company has an important strategy to expand cooperation with business partners, especially the supply chain of components, Charging station operators, and vehicle operators as well as users, to support the demand for electric vehicle solutions, especially in the private and public sectors in Thailand.
