Somboon Advance Technology Public Company Limited received the ISO 14064-1:2018 certification for the first time in 2024 from BSI Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd. This international standard covers the verification of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions measurement, reporting, and reductions at the organizational level (Carbon Footprint Organization - CFO).

Since 2021, the company had continuously collected and verified CFO data following the guidelines of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO. However, in 2024, the company transitioned from TGO’s guidelines to ISO 14064-1:2018, aiming for a more systematic and quality-driven approach in greenhouse gas data collection and reporting. This shift is intended to prepare for upcoming climate change regulations, support customers in their GHG reduction activities, and demonstrate the company's commitment to sustainable business practices. Additionally, it aligns with Thailand's policy goals of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and net-zero GHG emissions by 2065.
